Introducing Grow with Copperleaf: Supporting and Developing Our People

At Copperleaf®, we’re dedicated to continuously improving our employee experience and creating a culture that values the growth and development of our people. Therefore, I’m extremely excited to announce our new Grow with Copperleaf program—a formal initiative that provides learning opportunities and professional development for our team members.

Put simply, we want to contribute to the growth and enrichment of our employees and believe that development and learning are critical to keep all of us engaged and motivated to do our best work. The Grow with Copperleaf program will initially encompass these areas:

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an industry-leading learning platform that offers unlimited access to over 20,000 virtual courses across all types of roles and experience levels. It’s integrated with our own Learning Management System, Copperleaf Academy, allowing teams to create unique learning plans that blend Copperleaf-created content with curated LinkedIn Learning content. We’re thrilled to make this resource available to all our employees to enable continual learning and support both professional and personal growth.

Professional Development Support

We’re happy to offer Copperleafers $500 per year towards professional development such as books, webinars, certifications, courses, and conferences. Employees can also apply to a centralized professional development pool for items that are greater than the $500 individual entitlement, such as post-secondary education or certification programs.

Leadership Training and Competencies

We strive to make Copperleaf a center of excellence for leadership development. To accomplish this, we’re providing opportunities for tenured, new, and aspiring leaders to develop leadership skills through new training courses and a revamped leadership competency matrix. I believe it’s important for everyone to have a consistent experience at Copperleaf, and that includes consistent expectations of what it means to be a team lead who embraces our cultural tenets and delivers high performance.

Lattice: Driving Performance and Engaging Employees

Lattice is a people success platform that we’ve recently implemented company-wide. It connects performance management, employee engagement, and career development in one unified solution. In particular, Lattice enables us to:

  • Have effective 1:1s between team members and team leads via shared agendas and action items
  • Create career growth plans, directly aligned with role expectations and competency matrices
  • Track objectives and key results that align with department goals
  • Deliver and receive feedback on performance reviews

In keeping with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy, Grow with Copperleaf ensures learning opportunities are equitable across the company and provides easy access to everyone interested in learning and expanding their knowledge base. In the spirit of our culture, which encourages us to always improve, we’ll continue listen to our employees’ feedback and expand this program to ensure we’re giving our people the right tools and opportunities to reach their full potential.
