Phil Jones is the Managing Director of the Americas, which includes US, Canada, and LATAM, and is primarily responsible for leading and growing Copperleaf’s sales in the region. He has a passion for helping his team connect with prospects and clients to share how value-based decision making can transform their businesses and drive better outcomes.
Phil joined Copperleaf as Vice President, Sales and Business Development in 2009, and for two years was the sole sales professional for Copperleaf. Alongside a great leadership team, Phil went on to build a global sales organization, growing the business at more than 40% CAGR, which eventually led to Copperleaf’s IPO in 2021. In January 2023, he took on the Managing Director for the Americas region and was responsible for regional P&L and leading sales, marketing, customer experience, and operations in the region.
Phil earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. After learning enough about himself to realize he didn’t want to design circuits for a living, Phil moved into client facing roles starting off in turn-key factory equipment sales in Asia and then moving into high-tech sales once back in North America. He lives in Coquitlam, BC where he enjoys outdoor adventures in the snow, on the water, and in the mountains.
